What Are The Best Meditation Techniques-Find Out Here

Holosync Audio Technology Review

Science, yes. Fiction, no. “I’ve been using Holosync® for years now  to assist me with my meditation practice and have been able to achieve much deeper and more profound results! I believe it to be one of the best meditation techniques-tools available. To understand Centerpointes awakening prologue series let’s take a closer look.

Here’s what happens as you use Awakening Prologue

You listen with stereo headphones or ear buds, sitting comfortably with closed eyes (or, if you prefer, you may lie down). Each time you listen, Holosync® stimulates a part of each brain hemisphere called the olivary nucleus, taking you into the brain waves of deep meditation.
To process the Holosync® stimulus, your brain creates new neural pathways connecting the left and right sides of your brain.

The creation of these new neural pathways has three results

Result #1:

A very pleasurable experience during listening (and often for some time afterwards). As Holosync® changes your brain wave patterns to those of deep meditation, the brain produces several very pleasurable neurochemicals, including endorphins (the same endorphins responsible for “runner’s high”)…as well as several hormones with a profound and positive effect on longevity, aging, stress, and well-being.

Result #2:

The creation of the “whole-brain thinking”, along with all the improvements in mental clarity, creativity, and focus already discussed.

Result #3:

Remarkable changes in mental/emotional health and your ability to handle stress. So-called dysfunctional feelings and behaviors begin to fall away. Your life comes into balance in a way you never could have imagined—and your level of happiness and inner peace increases dramatically.

centerpointe

According to Centerpointe Research Institute….. twenty-four hours a day, as nerve cells in your brain communicate with each other, they generate electrical impulses that fluctuate rhythmically in distinct patterns called brain wave patterns.

These patterns are closely correlated with your thoughts… your emotions… your state of being… the functioning of the various systems of your body… and, in essence, the entire quality of your life!

BETA- There are four categories of brain wave patterns. The most rapid is called a beta brain wave pattern, the pattern of normal waking consciousness. Beta is associated with concentration, arousal, alertness, and cognition.

At its highest, most rapid levels, though, beta is associated with anxiety, disharmony, and dis-ease. (Perhaps the ability to slow yourself down from those levels might be beneficial to you?)

ALPHA As you become more relaxed, your brain wave activity slows into what is called an alpha brain wave pattern. Alpha patterns vary from deep alpha, a state of deep relaxation often referred to as the twilight state between sleep and waking, to the higher end of alpha—a more focused yet still very relaxed state.

When you’re absorbed in a good book (or a television show) you’re probably in alpha. And, as I already mentioned, alpha is often associated with what is known as superlearning—the ability to learn, process, store and…

THETA Slower still are theta waves. Theta is best known as the brain wave state of dreaming sleep, but it is also associated with a number of other beneficial states, including increased creativity, some kinds of superlearning, increased memory abilities, visionary experiences, and what are called integrative experiences.

(where we make broadly-based positive changes in the way we see ourselves, others, or certain life situations).

“Ah-ha!” experiences, where you suddenly “get it,” have an insight, or a great idea suddenly comes to you, are accompanied by bursts of theta waves in your brain.

Here’s another exciting characteristic of the theta state:

Dr. Thomas Budzynski, a noted researcher in this field, has said that critical and often self-sabotaging filters of the left brain are bypassed in a theta state, and that in terms of making positive changes in beliefs or habit patterns, “a lot of work gets done very quickly.”

And best of all, theta is also a state of tremendous stress relief. In the slower theta brain wave pattern, the brain makes lots of relaxing endorphins that really do—as you will see (or rather, feel) when you try it for yourself…

DELTAThe slowest brain wave pattern is delta, the brain wave pattern of dreamless sleep. Generally people are asleep in delta, but there is evidence that it’s possible to remain alert in this state—a very deep, trance-like, non-physical state you’ll have to experience to appreciate.

In certain delta frequencies the brain releases many highly beneficial substances, including human growth hormone, which we ordinarily make in decreasing quantities as we get older—resulting in many aging symptoms including loss of muscle tone, increased weight gain, loss of stamina, and many diseases associated with aging.

Positive Changes

Holosync® puts you into a “waking delta” state—where the most beneficial changes occur. These brain wave patterns of meditation dramatically improve your health, slow aging, powerfully reduce stress levels, create more happiness and inner peace…and a lot more.

Unfortunately, traditional meditation is difficult for most people to learn. Many find it difficult to stick with a meditation practice. And, the results happen so slowly that most people quit before they experience them.
That’s why Holosync® is such a tremendous breakthrough. It allows you to experience all the benefits of meditation, easily and effortlessly and without spending years mastering the ability to meditate.

…and I agree wholeheartedly. Centerpointes Awakening Prologue Series is one of the best on the Market for achieving deep levels of relaxation leading to more profound meditation sessions and best of all, you can try it out for free!

Though I have never had the need for deep meditation as I can normally get into a deep prayer state, I found it interesting learning about all of the different brain wave states. Thanks for the education on this. Very interesting.

Hi Tom, I am an advocate of meditation and have many of the Holosync Prologue audios. They really are effective for providing the positive effects that one would otherwise have to spend years or longer periods of time during the day to achieve.

Many years ago I tried Transcendental Meditation but could not get into it. I was however going through the loss of a parent at that time but determined to find peace with my emotions, soon after I began my hypnotherapy training. One thing I was and am certain of is that it is essential to calm the mind, and whichever way you go the benefits are well, well worth it.

A great website Tom and I shall look around more. Glad to have found you!

Best wishes, Janice 🙂

After reading your site and watching your video I felt more relaxed and uplifted. I have always been aware of the beneficial effects of meditation and have managed to lower my blood pressure and increase my feelings of well being with meditation. Even so I never truly understood how it all worked. Now I understand the brain wave patterns and what it all means. How long were you using the Holosync system before you actually were aware of the benefits?

I love meditation audios. I am always looking for new ones to try. This sounds like a great one for ending anxiety. I have tried traditional meditation, and you are right when you said that people give up before they have good results. I really like it that you can try it for free! I will check it out.

Hi Tom and thank you for posting on this fascinating topic. It seems you get a lot for your money with Holosync. I was wondering about the money-back guarantee after a year…it sounds too good to be true. What’s your experience of whether they actually honor such requests?

Hi Nicola- I have found Holosync to be an outstanding company, for the quality of their products, support of their products and return policy. Awhile back I had to return a CD which somehow had gotten damaged after the initial year, and they did not even hesitate. I would highly recommend Holosync as a reliable and trustworthy company to anyone looking to deepen their meditation practice!

Hi Tom,

Having been introduced to mediation about a year ago, and struggling to get into a true state of deep relaxation I can see myself trying Holosync. Mediation is no easy task. Over the past year my concentration has gotten better, but I just can’t seem to go deep. I am going to try the Dive and Awakening Prologue audio CD’s from Holosync, and hopefully it will take me to a whole other level with my meditation. This article gives a lot of insight into the science of meditation.

I wouldn’t say that I was a serious practitioner of meditation, but I have enjoyed short periods of meditation. It makes so much sense that Theta brain waves are responsible for Ah-Ha moments. There have been times where I have been trying to figure out a problem and can’t find the solution. I find that after a good nights sleep, I wake up with the answer. The brain is really amazing. Do you have any suggestions of how i can start adding small moments of meditation throughout my day? I think it would really help my stress level.

Reply
    Tom

Hi Valarie- What I did was to first set my priorities, and meditation was first on my list for many reasons. Val one suggestion would be to set a time everyday to sit, if you have a quiet room pick that place and use that place only. I like to burn incense during meditation as it adds to the importance of the ritual. Make your meditation the single most important thing you want to accomplish for the day.

Then when you sit, leave all worry behind, just sit and practice. I tend to prefer to just sit for one session of half an hour per day, as we all tend to get busy during the day and having multiple sessions for me leads to non-practice. I have also laid out some steps for those who are new to meditation at http://healingbodyandmind.org/wp-admin/post.php?post=257&action=edit These tips should really help. Let me know if you need further guidance, and I would be more than happy to assist.

Tom this post looks really interesting! Do you need a certain kind of headphone to listen to the music? I use to have an app with meditation music but I wasn’t able to go deep into it like I should. Will you feel the effects of this product after the first time if you meditate semi regularly? This is a very informative post and I learned quite a bit about meditation techniques. I will definitely have to try holosync’s Awakening and Prologue Series CD’s.

Check out my article on http://healingbodyandmind.org/what-are-the-benefits-of-meditation-on-stress/ this will give you some beginner techniques that may help. I would also suggest just to sit for a short period say 5 to 10 minutes and do not try, just sit in a quiet area. Also what might be very helpful is to try the Holosync CD The awakening Prologue. I use it and it really helps me go deep. It allows me to start meditating right away without trying and I know it will work for you.

Hi Tom,
Wow this is some great information on the benefits of deep meditation and how using a program like holosync can help people achieve the benefits of the Delta state. I admit I am in beta state most of the time and cannot slow down long enough to mediate even though I know it would benefit me. How long did it take you to achieve delta state? I am definitely going to give this program a try.

Hi Sheila-Thanks for stopping by. It really doesn’t take long using Holosync. I was able to reach deep levels after the first few sessions of using the CD’s. What really makes it work is the commitment to sit and practice. What are your priorities? As Paramahansa Yogananda once said, ” Everything else can wait, but your search for God cannot wait.” Commitment is the key!

Hi Tom

I used Holosync CD’s for quite a while and also found them very beneficial. I never had the patience to learn meditation the traditional way so by achieving it through audio assistance was great.

I haven’t used Holosync for a while now, but have been thinking about getting back into it. My biggest problem is finding the time to do it everyday.

One question, if I haven’t done it in a while (like 2 years) should I start again where I left off or go back a couple of levels? Or is that something I should ask Center-point?

Reply
    Tom

Hi Nate- In regards to finding the time, you may want to ask yourself as I did, what are your priorities. Once you establish that the most important thing of the day is your practice then you will be able to sit again. As to your question regarding the Holosync CD’S, I have not gone up all the levels, I just use the Prologue series of two CD’S, the dive and immersion. I find that these are all I need to jump start my deep meditation practice.

Hi Tom: This is a very informative and interesting article.
I have tried meditating a few times over the years but have never been able to enter whatever state you are supposed to get to! I understand your point about sitting meditation as the priority in someone’s life but due to the nature of my work, I cannot say that the first thing I do each day will be to meditate. I really have no routine and sometimes I am on the go for 20 hours straight. If there is absolutely no routine that I can follow, will I still get the benefits of this?

Reply
    Tom

Hi Charles- What I suggest is that you start slowly, in other words try five to fifteen minutes a day. What you will need to do is to create a habit. Find a time during the day when you have a few minutes down time, and make that your sitting practice time. Don’t worry about going deep, just clear your mind, take a few deep breaths and sit.

When you do sit and practice don’t stress about it, just sit and continue with that each day. Slowly you can increase your time until you are sitting for around thirty minutes. I hope that helps..

    All the best-

I have used other meditation aids, and what they called life changing sound waves that did not have any affect that I noticed. As a matured aged person I am concerned with the loss of recall and the working brain.

What makes this meditation aid different, and do you think it has other healing powers?

Thanks.

I’d like to get into a regular meditation practice again. It’s been very helpful to me in the past, and I know it works best when you meditate on a regular basis. I haven’t heard of Holosync, but I have heard of binaural beats. From your description it seems you use Holosync to quickly bring your brainwaves to the right frequency for a certain result.
