Hypnosis-What Is It Good For?
Far from being asleep or unaware, Hypnosis is actually a heightened state of awareness in which you are both relaxed but your mind is focused. Due to this heightened way of thinking you can use it to rewire your self beliefs and patterns of thinking.

Hypnosis – “the state of consciousness involving focused attention characterized by an enhanced capacity for response to suggestion”. James Braid adopted the term hypnotism in 1841 and hypnosis gained widespread use in the 1880s.
Franz Anton Mesmer (/ˈmɛzmər/; May 23, 1734 – March 5, 1815) was a German physician who theorized that there was a natural energetic transference that occurred between all animated and inanimate objects that he called animal magnetism, sometimes later referred to as mesmerism.
So what exactly is Hypnosis and how can it help you?
“The induction of a state of consciousness in which a person is especially responsive to suggestion or direction while in a heightened state of awareness.” Going into a bit more detail though, you could say that hypnosis is often over complicated-It is basically used to describe a trance like state.
We all go in and out of mild “trances” or trance like states every day; those moments when our minds wander and we fantasize, when we focus intently on something and block anything else out, or when we “zone out” either in front of the tv set, or with a book.
All hypnosis does is put you into one of these mild “trance” states purposefully and gradually, and as you keep getting exposed to the hypnotic suggestions of the hypnotist your patterns of thinking and self beliefs will start to change.
What is possible with Hypnosis?
It is now used for the elimination of almost any adverse belief, and to assist in a wide range of health problems- it has also gained a very successful reputation helping people to achieve the “success mindset“, as well as specific goals in life.
So if you have issues with anxiety, phobias or other health related disorders why not give hypnosis a try and see if it can help you move through your specific problem areas. I have used it personally and can attest to it’s effectiveness.
